A talk board with real pictures
Core words stay in the same place, so a child’s finger learns the route. Proper AAC pictures, your own photos, or your own recorded voice.
A talk board and speech-sound practice for children, with the tools parents and therapists need to choose the words, add their own pictures and voices, and see how it is going.
Free. No ads. No accounts.

Round your lips a little and make a quiet “shhh”.
How did it go?
Tap Listen to hear the word.
Each round is ten short words. A child hears the word, says it, and says how it went. Stars are for trying. Nothing is ever marked wrong, and “try again later” is always an okay answer.
Core words stay in the same place, so a child’s finger learns the route. Proper AAC pictures, your own photos, or your own recorded voice.
A child taps how they feel and gets up to three calm things they can do, read aloud. Always positive. Always a big “I need a grown-up” button.
Eight picture words for each sound. Hear the word slowly, say it, watch your mouth in a mirror, record yourself and listen back.
Pictures of what happens next, one step at a time. First / Then keeps the nice thing locked until the task is done.
Dentist, school bus, waiting my turn, loud alarms, a new baby and more, in 8 groups. Short, literal and kind, each with a way out.
One tap shows 12 big starter words. Or pick your own few. Hidden words leave no clutter, and you choose big buttons or fixed places.
Parents and teachers add photos, record a voice for any button, and add new words from a library of about 140 everyday words.
Pick a voice style for a little child, a child, a teen or an adult, then a real voice from your phone. Six languages.
A weekly summary as a PDF or text, including feelings chosen and sounds practiced. Sent only when you choose to send it.
The first thing the app asks is which language your family uses. Every word on the board, every folder and the voice switch to it, and every button stays in its usual place. Try it: tap a word, then build a sentence.
The translations are first drafts and have not been reviewed by native speakers yet. Fluent family members: tell us what to fix.
Your browser has no speech voice, so tapping will not speak. The iPhone app uses the built-in iOS voices.
Ratings come from the child or the grown-up. The app does not listen to judge speech.
We do not run servers for the app, so we never receive your child’s words, photos or recordings.
Yes, it is free right now. If that ever changes, we will say so here first.
No, and that is on purpose. When the app opens it asks who is here: Child or Grown-up. That is just a choice on the device, not an account. The grown-up area sits behind a press-and-hold lock, with an optional passcode or Face ID. Words, photos and recordings never leave the device.
No. BloomTalk is for practice and everyday communication between sessions. It does not diagnose anything or tell you which sounds your child needs. A speech-language pathologist can help you choose.
The app, the talk board and the voice work in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Hindi. You choose on the first screen. The speech-sound practice words are English for now.
Only when your child taps Record or Mirror. A recording plays back once so they can hear themselves, then it is thrown away. The mirror is a live preview that records nothing. Neither is saved, sent or analysed.
Never. The app does not try to judge speech, because that is unreliable for young children and discouraging when it is wrong. A grown-up or the child says how it went, and stars are for trying.
We are preparing it for the App Store on iPhone and iPad. It is not there yet.
